Retired since 2008. Nina Grønnum is known for her work on Danish intonation and (with Hans Basbøll) on Danish stød. She is the author of two textbooks in phonetics, Fonetik og Fonologi – Almen og dansk (2005) and Rødgrød med Fløde – En lille bog om dansk fonetik (2007). She is a fellow of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters.
